We had not received any communication from the lead dev in 6 months. If we had we would have made it clear that vanilla MetaDisk should not be used for production purposes.
Talked with bassguitarman so this is cleared up. From what I understand they won't be using MetaDisk anymore.
tldr; Feature set and usage of MetaDisk are misleading.
